The Silmarillion
the Silmarilloin is what I am about to read. By J.R.R.Tolkien. It is the companion to the Lord of The Rings. I hope it will help me to understand the parts of the Lord of the Rings I don't understand. It is the tale of Middle-Earth before and during the coming of the humans. So we shall see.
