"Soon ...."

I have finished the book, and have enjoyed it. It has put me in to thinking WHAT If?? How would I react to the things that happened in the book? Would I be a strong believer? Would I have the convictions to stand for what I believe? I thought the ending was outstanding as it proved who did it.

If anyone else has read this I would like to hear your comments on it.

Rock of Salvation

As I continue to learn more about God and trust Him I am able to tell others of God's strength and power to help and keep them as he has done for me.

Verse 18 "Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come".

Troubles

The Book Soon...

I am up to chapter 12. We have had the World Trade Disaster. WWIII Major tsunami's in the Pacific. Religion removed. The main character Paul (he has been assigned to investigate the terrorists acts in America) has survived a bomb blast, and a major oil fire, but has suffered and been blinded.

Why...

My summary of Psalms 73:
As I see the wicked, cursing God and doing wicked things, they seem to have it all. I become very envious and jealous, wondering why they get all they want and I don't.
But, when I put my trust in God, I see that He is all I need or desire. He is my strength. He is the one I will be with in Heaven.

verse 26: "My flesh and my heart fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Join me tomorrow in reading Psalms 90.

We can have Peace

We can have Peace, even though we are sick, hungry, hurt, cold, treated unjustly, robbed, cursed, beaten, and walked on, As long as we trust, wait, and commit ourselves to the Lord, for He will give us strength to endure, mercy to forgive, and bless us with Eternal Peace.

Verse 37: "Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright for the future of that man is peace."

My summary of Psalms 19:

Happiness is in the Law of the Lord. The earth declares and shows His law. The Law enlightens us, cleanses us,makes wise the simple, gives us Happiness, Joy, Love, and Hope.
Should it not be our most desired treasure?

Today's reading is Psalms One

Find a quite spot and read Psalms One with me. As I read this psalm I realize that this is a contrast between good and evil. God blesses us as we trust Him and obey. We are happy in meditating on His laws. But the sinner will always be looking for the ever elusive happiness and perish never finding it.
Tomorrows reading will be Psalms 19. Join me and see what God has to say.
